What do I do if I’m getting a 40 – 60%ile in CAT

First of all, breathe easy, remember that your goal is to crack a good business school and not getting into the IIMs is not the end of the world. Please also note that you have lots of exams still to take, IIFT, XAT, FMS, CET, MAT, SNAP, NMAT etc. So you have plenty of chances to still break into the top 30 business schools in India.

However, at this stage a lot of institutes will need you to take a decision on whether you apply to them or not and for those of you who fall into the 40-60%ile bracket, and are extremely sure they must get into a b-school at the end of the year, we would recommend that you consider the following B-schools based on where your CAT score falls. Please note that the list is in random order.
